Danhard has received a U.S. patent for Air Shield, an air curtain designed specifically for ambulances.
The Air Shield mounts above the interior doors of an ambulance. As we know, doors can be open for extended periods when on scene. It’s unavoidable when retrieving the stretcher, or loading the patient.
At these times, the Air Shield will:
• Help maintain comfort levels by creating an interior air curtain
• Help prevent the entry of insects
• Reduce the amount of fumes created by the vehicle when on fast idle
• Improve patient and EMT comfort
Air Shield will improve performance of the vehicle’s air conditioning and heating system by reducing outside influence. Air Shield will activate automatically when doors are opened or by manual operation.
Styles are available for rear door, or side doors.
