Description
This is a Receiver Drier for Evans Tempcon with part numbers RV218396, RV212506, RV011235, RV213121, & RV200523. This uses two different size fittings. If your Evans drier has two different size fittings, but has SAE threads, please see part number RV212450.
- The drier is pressurized with a small amount of dry nitrogen when the factory leaks check them.
- You can use R134A, R1234yf, R404, R12 or most any approved refrigerant with this drier.
- The drier is ok for use in systems with PAG or Mineral oil and the oils used with R404 in small transport refrigeration systems.
- R404A is being replaced by lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants like R448A, R449A, R452A, and R455A. The best replacement depends on the application, with options such as natural refrigerants (R290, R600A) for small systems, or CO2 (R744) in new systems, while retrofitting options often involve the HFO/HFC blends.
